To use Auto Reply on GEMs running Cyrus IMAP requires setting up a filter in your Squirrel mail account.

In your web browser enter the address http://mail

Choose Filters from the menu across the top.

Log in using your username and password.

Enter your e-mail address. Also enter any other e-mail addresses or aliases you use.
e.g. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ,mstreet

Days is the number of days after which the message will be sent again e.g. In the example below, if someone e-mails you every day and you are away for a month, they will only get the Auto Reply every 7 days.

Enter your message. Your Auto Reply rule is now set up and can be Enabled/Disabled as required without having to recreate it.

To Enable/Disable a rule there is no need to edit it. Check the tick box next to the rule (or rules if you are doing more than one) and click the appropriate button.
