Deleting a user

  • Nothing is deleted from the user's folder on shared.
  • The user's private folders are deleted.
  • The user's e-mail folders, including Inbox, are deleted.

All e-mail and files deleted will still be in the archive but there is the obvious difficulty in finding any particular file should it be required for retrieval.

It is therefore expedient to consider this before deleting a user from the system. If you wish to tidy the user list then before deleting a user consider whether to copy any files/folders that may be required, to another location.
