WinSCP - starting WinSCP using an SSH key.

To access Z1 using your SSH key start WinSCP and ensure Session is selected.

Using WinSCP new session

Enter Host Name (or IP address) and User Name. Find the saved PRIVATE key.

Using WinSCP Save session}

Save the session using a name of your choice then go to Stored sessions and select the session.

Click Login.

When you connect to the server for the first time (from a given PC), a warning message is generated to tell you about it. It gives you the chance to allow this PC to make a note of the real server identity ( fingerprint) and not ask again, unless the identity changes (for instance somebody pretends to be your server).

Enter your key passphrase, click OK and you should now be connected.
